DECT 6 and 5.8 GHz Portable Phones have Arrived in the US. Finally, the infamous DECT technology has arrived on the shores of the United States.

DECT technology, prevalent in European phones, has been discouraged by European environmentalists and professional groups for a long time because of its constant microwave emissions even when not in use.
