RF Testing, RF Measurements and RF Surveys

Our electromagnetic environments have dramatically changed over the last decade. Wireless technology and applications have made their way into every aspect of our daily life. Numerous sources of RF and microwave radiation are being brought into our indoor environment. Do you want to know what you, your family or staff is being exposed to? Or want to create a low RF environment as part of a healthy green building?

EMF/RF Provides RF Testing to:

  • Measure the exposure in your building from cell towers, radio and TV antennas
  • Measure the radiation if you’re planning to build or live near major transmission or cell tower sites
  • Assess the proper installation of your wireless network (WLAN) system, identify high radiation areas and suggest RF mitigation methods for your system
  • Evaluate your cordless phones and reduce your exposure. Did you know that many cordless phones are emitting RF radiation constantly, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year without being used to talk?
  • Evaluate Bluetooth devices
  • Check the RF and microwave radiation emitted from baby monitors
  • Use in the planning of wireless smart house technology and security systems
  • Conduct OSHA or FCC RF compliance surveys for your building or construction site

RF Testing Equipment
Our state-of-the-art spectrum analyzers and appropriate antennas allow us to identify the different frequencies present, measure the strength (amplitude) of the signals, detect pulsed signals, time and code division multiplexing and frequency hopping. Broadband meters allow us to test, measure and assess the entire frequency range.
